I love summer!

Too long too long

Sorry all you grand kids update readers, i haven't blogged in forever, just not found the time. Now D is preparing here next to me, and I can't fold (oh too bad) the laundry so I thought why not blog a bit.
Life at the Swart household has been on the go as usual, I don't really know anyone who isn't on the go. The important thing is what are we on the go with, ah deep yes I know. A lot looming questions are in our conversations, minds and prayer lives regularly, where to next? Stay in OP which we love, move to the city which we love, loose a back yard, gain a back yard, schools, relationships etc etc, the only real way to make this momentous decision is seeking God's heart and what He wants and we are. In the mean time, we sit tight, hard for us giggly folk.

The kids are growing up too quickly. Abigail's curious, out spoken side is coming out in full force. She is an absolute delight and we adore her. Her zeal for life, love and all that those encompass is a real challenge for me, not to become old and apathetic. She does speak her mind regularly which is cute and at times a little embarrassing, especially when we are out and about. She is definitely not a "once-you-get-to-know-her-you'll-love-her-person", she is a "you-love-her-right-from-the get-go", and I TOTALLY biased
Mr Connor is growing in such wisdom and valor. Wow, I am amazed to see him mature into this God loving, word hungry passionate little man. There is a hunger for God in him that is raw and unchurched and I love it!

I am totally blessed and thank God everyday for the amazing kids He has blessed us with. Yes we would like another, so we wait and see...been waiting quite a few months now, but oh well.

Ok so my darling hubby got me a new toy. I say toy not to make not a totally awesome blessing, but I don't want to focus too much of it. It is fun. Now I have to get photoshop to work...!!!

Dec update with videos this time!

I am hoping this year I can get my butt in gear and blog more. So here is a start. I have some videos and pics from Dec. It was a busy but fun month for us. I remember Christmas morning standing in the kitchen thinking, wow God you are amazing, just totally amazing. I had such a deep sense of gratification for my 2 healthy fun loving little bundles, a hubby that I adore and I feel adored by and an extended family who loves and accepts us. I don't ever want to take these things for granted, and I hope the kids will pick up on it too this year. Having thank ful hearts.

So here are some random pics and a few videos (haven't done that in a while).

Abigail wanted me to show gammy and pom pop her new shoes so she asked me to take a picture and send it to them on the "pomputer". And then she wanted to talk to them on the pomputer!

Mrs abi with her Jane, it is her robotic cat that doesn't bite her and does exactly what she wants, as Mr Tumnus doesn't. I think he has had his fair share of forced tea parties and dress up. I must say he is a good sport and just lies on the floor and sleeps while she does him up and forcce feeds him.

All Connor wanted for Christmas was a transformer and he got one. They are hard to figure out.

He loves the DK books, so he got some, I love them too. We will sit together and learn all about weird and wonderful things.

Our little Christmas table, the Sudworths and Martinsens's joined us, and Pearl a friend from SA all joined us for a MASSIVE meal. It was great fun.
